  1. Enrico Serafino, Alta Langa Brut Ouedeis 2018 (fresh and crispy traditional method, medium length)
  2. Lunae Bosoni, Colli di Luni Vermentino Lunae 2021 (vivid straw yellow, good intensity on the nose, fresh and harmonious)
  3. Velenosi, Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Superiore 2020 (lovely ruby red with purple highlights, very intense and fruity on the nose, fresh, juicy, medium body, nice but little short finish)
  4. Tenuta Mara, Maramia Sangiovese 2017 (biodynamic, light garnet red, light body and harmonius)
  5. Tenute Folonari, Chianti Classico Nozzole 2019 (fresh, tannins smooth, dries the mouth, good and long finish)
  6. Tenute di Arceno, Chianti Classico Riserva 2018 (deep ruby red colour – suspicious – fresh, good tannins, full body)
  7. Vallepicciola, Chianti Classico Riserva 2018 (deep ruby red – suspicious – fresh, good tannins and warmth, full-body)
  8. Piccini, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Valiano 6.38 2018 (modern style, light and back to typical Chianti color, harmonius)
  9. Ruffino, Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Riserva Ducale Oro 2017 (intense ruby red – several wines have a colour issue – tannins high and drying sensation not very harmonious)
  10. Il Borro, Borro 2018 (international blend – Merlot Syrah, Petit Verdot, etc – deep ruby red colour, full-body, rich and juicy)
  11. San Felice, Vigorello 2018 (100% Sangiovese, many layers, freshness, full-body, tannins, tertiary flavours, complex)
  12. Colle Massari, Grattamacco Bolgheri Superiore 2018 (despite other Bolgheri here there is a small percentage of Sangiovese next to Cab Sav, Can Franc and Merlot, full-body, tannins still big)
  13. Ridolfi, Brunello di Montalcino 2017 (fresh, tannins evident)
  14. Tenute del Cerro, La Poderina Brunello di Montalcino 2017 (too much tannins, affect the balance)
  15. Frescobaldi, Castelgiocondo Brunello di Montalcino 2016 (despite being the older Brunello the tannins are too big again, need to wait a couple of more years)
  16. Famiglia Cecchi, Coevo 2015 (very old vintage, Sangiovese Cabernet and Merlot in the blend, tannins too dominant affect the balance)
  17. Cantina Tollo, Mo Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva 2017 (modern style, new barriques, tannins sharp)
  18. Masciarelli, Villa Gemma Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva 2017 (colour is spectacular vivid ruby, rich and juicy and balanced)
