The request for modification of the production regulations starts from the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2012 by the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano (Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG) and the Consorzio Vini d’Abruzzo (Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC and DOCG). with which the two Consortia undertook initiatives to promote the correct identification of the two wines and in particular of their respective territories of origin.
